PSYOPS Vehicle
The system is equipped with RF-5800 FALCONTM II series VHF and TechnomadTM audio systems fitted with two Berlin 15/H loudspeakers, a Control Rack, cables, tripod, microphone, CD/tape player. The speakers are waterproof and can be installed in outdoor applications.
Technomad loudspeakers are full range devices, with well-aligned arrival times between low, medium, and high frequency components of the audio signal. The result is the systems’ speech clarity is vastly better than traditional ‘horn’ systems, which can be loud but are often impossible to understand. Speech instructions are clear, intelligible, and natural sounding, even at the full operating power of the system.
The system supports voice, data communication and PSYOPS broadcast requirements while “On-the-Move” or while deployed in a “Static” location.
The system is equipped with the situational awareness capability provided by BC2A Cinetic®, Interactive’s command and control application empowering leaders and commanders below battalion with the tools required to support the decisions and manage the battle on the move as the action unfolds. BC2A Cinetic® delivers all the benefits of a battlefield management system with the reliability of data exchange over the narrowband Combat Net Radio channels and flexibility provided by the SOA design that ensures NATO interoperability, expandability and speed of response to emerging operational requirements
A TT URO, VAMTAC S3 type 4PC four-wheel drive vehicle, fitted with a protected cabin for the crew area, provides the common mobile platform for the communications system.
The vehicle is custom equipped with AC and DC power distribution and conversion systems for the communications and support equipment. A power monitor and control panel provides the operator convenient access to the system power functions. The communications power system is independent of the vehicle system providing seamless transitions from vehicle, generator/commercial, or communication battery power.
Interactive SBC performed the following activities in order to deliver a turn-key system:
- System design and engineering
- Installation and integration of the purchased equipment and the CFE equipment in the communications vehicle
- Purchase/manufacture, install and test the power supply system necessary for the vehicle installations
- Purchase/manufacture, install and test all the equipment necessary for the vehicle installations
- Provide the necessary markings to installed components to ensure proper functional guidance for end users.
