EOD Vehicle
The EOD vehicle is a fully intergrated custom tactical communications vehicular system, using as platform an armored URO VAMTAC vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with a protected cabin for the crew and internal staging area. It is equipped with a fully integrated mission electronic, robotic and surveillance system for specific missions.
The system is equipped with RG-5800 FALCON II series HF. The RF-5800H-V002 RF-FALCON II 150 Watt HF radio system provides advanced capabilities for secure high-speed data and digital voice operation in both fixed and ECCM modes.
The EOD vehicle supports HF voice and data communication requirements while “On-the-Move” or while deployed with a “Static” location.
Interactive SBC performed the following activities in order to deliver a turn-key system:
- System design and engineering;
- Installation and integration of purchased equipment and the CFE equipment in the communications vehicle;
- provide the necessary markings to installed components to ensure proper functional guidance for end users.
