Interactive SBC to display Advanced Individual Combat System solutions at EUROSATORY 2010
BUCHAREST, May 5th, 2010 — Interactive SBC, a leading capability provider of Communications & Information Systems for the Defense and Homeland Security Market, announced that will display the latest developments to its BC2A® Mobil solution – the core component of company’s Advanced Individual Combat System solution, at 2010 Eurosatory exhibition.
BC2A® Mobil is the core component of a complete Advanced Individual Combat System which will equip the Land Forces dismounted soldiers, each seamlessly interconnected into a single platform, via Harris RF-7800S Secure Personal Radio. The application connects each section of soldiers into the digitized battlefield, each man-platform in this section contributing to the larger, Network Enabled Capability (NEC) assured by the seamless integration with BC2A Cinetic® application, used when the section is mounted, and BC2A Staff® at the battalion, brigade and division headquarters.
Interactive BC2A Cinetic® solution is already fielded with the Romanian Land Forces. “For the squad we have voice communication and position reporting and through the commander, who has a C4I unit connected to the radio. He can provide to the platoon commander the position of all his squad members and this is connected to the battle management system which is connected into the vehicle, so in the vehicle the commander can see the position of all the members of his squad and assure the connection with the platoon level at the company level”, declared Maj.
