Interactive SBC Announced Latest Enhancements to its BMS Cinetic® Solution at 2010 BSDA Exhibition

These enhancements illustrate the company’s commitment to supporting the leaders and commanders at the tactical echelons with the tools required to sustain the decisions and manage the battle on the move.

Interactive BMS Cinetic® provides C4ISTAR integration of the battalion combat platforms to ensure vehicle commanders with the following operational capabilities:

  • tactical situation acquisition and awareness;
  • digital maps management;
  • orders, reports, alerts and requests management;
  • vehicles movement management, including navigation;
  • logistics situation (ammunition, POL etc.);
  • weapon systems monitoring
  • vehicle health and usage monitoring

Interactive BMS Cinetic® solution already integrates data from vehicle electronics and platform sensors (such as Laser Radiation Warning System, NBC detector, Inertial Navigation Unit, Fire Suppression System, Laser Range Finder) into the command and control software BC2A Cinetic®.

The enhancements to Interactive BMS Cinetic® solution shown during BSDA exhibition consisted of the integration of Rafael’s SAMSON® Remote Control Weapon Station. The integration provides the following operational capabilities:

  • Increase operational tempo by improving target identification and handover between vehicle commander and gunner;
  • Improve fire precision by accurate determination of target parameters;
  • Generation of target list, target prioritization and target handover to the weapon station;
  • Monitoring permanently the weapon station status, orientation and ammunition stock.

Interactive BMS Cinetic® includes solutions to integrate any electronic equipment that needs to be fitted on a combat platform.
